We are currently seeking a Ingenium Tech Lead to join our team in Batesville, Indiana (US-IN), United States (US).
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Provide software development and maintenance support for projects working with the Business Unit and the Operations Support department
- Responsible for supporting implementation projects
- Provides application support for appropriate platform, and may serve as on-call resource to support the organization s service and escalation model
- Supports all phases of testing leading to implementation
- Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project and multiple projects.
- Create or contribute to technical project documentation
Basic
Qualifications:
- 8 plus years of software development experience utilizing Ingenium 5.
5 and 6.
3 - 8 plus years of COBOL and CICS experience
- Bachelor's degree required
Preferred Skills:
- Mantis programing language and web services
- Proficiency in Webservices & HTML scripting
- Working and good knowledge of Life insurance domain and Preferably Preneed Insurance
- Extensive knowledge of Ingenium Policy Admin platform version 6.
3 and 5.
5 - Strong knowledge and Experience with Databases (DB2, SQL, stored procedure development a plus)
- Strong knowledge and Experience with JCL
- Experience with Shell scripting
- Focused and driven attitude towards contributing on the creation, enhancement and delivery of complex solutions
- Ability to work with diverse personalities both technical and non-technical
- Thorough understanding of the SDLC:
planning, analysis, design, coding, testing, problem resolution - Ability to work flexible schedules particularly when software installs are scheduled
- Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to resolve escalated issues with a sense of urgency
